Are you a mental health professional interested in deepening your knowledge of trauma and expanding your skillset through parts work? This training is for you. While many trauma survivors hold black and white thinking that assumes we’re all one thing or another, parts work holds the belief that we are creatures of multiplicity, holding many parts. As we get to know these parts of ourselves and offer them compassion, they are able to step back, gain more access to our well of ‘self energy,’ and heal.

Join author and trauma therapist, Ilyse Kennedy, LPC, LMFT, SEP, PMH-C in expanding your knowledge of parts work through an Internal Family Systems lens. Though Ilyse has been trained in IFS, her view on parts work comes from a basis of attachment and her understanding of trauma. You’ll expand an understanding of IFS with a more expansive view, integrating Bonnie Badenoch’s inner community healing and somatic IFS.

Participants will:

  • Expand current knowledge of parts work or begin to learn this way of working.

  • Learn the neurobiology of parts work.

  • Understand why it's helpful for trauma healing.

  • Understand parts work from an attachment perspective.

  • Learn terms and methods from IFS and other modalities that utilize parts work.

  • Participate in experiential exercises to best learn how to integrate within your work as a therapist.

  • Gain confidence in utilizing parts work with current and future clients.

Registration is non-refundable however should you need to withdraw, credit can go toward a future training.

***Please note, in order to purchase you must add training to cart, then click on cart icon in the top righthand corner and complete your purchase. Thank you!
